Over two years, this plant replaced or integrated every frontline application operators touched. What started as digital checklists and issue logging grew into the single interface for work instructions, training, shift handover, real-time dashboards, SAP work orders, corporate safety reporting, warehouse flows, and AGV coordination. Shift whiteboards, Excel reports, and a stack of point tools were retired along the way.
No big-bang rollout. No capex event.
The team added modules quarter by quarter, kept what worked, phased out what Maecos could absorb. Operators were not trained into a new system, they pulled adjacent processes into the one they already used every day. Each addition compounded the savings. Each year freed budget for the next step.
An operator-led engine, not a one-off rollout.
This is a live operator-led digitisation, not a pilot, and it is now rolling out across other plants in the group. The customer's own IT and OT teams extend the platform independently because it was built to be open. We sit with them monthly and co-build the roadmap. That is how we work with every customer.
